Handy, peaceful location close to Scarborough in one direction, and Whitby in the other direction, Whitby, Alpamare Water Park, and the bus stop, genuinely helpful staff. Outstanding food for dinner and breakfast. Very good service throughout our stay.

Very friendly staff and brand-new rooms, we had a brilliant experience. Appreciated our rooms with bath. They offered us good meals, had a wide array of options to choose from. Very good service was provided. Not to mention that there was a free parking onsite.

Quiet venue, relaxing bar area, peaceful location in the pub which has that homey feeling. Savoury and absolutely superb breakfasts with cheerful waitress, lovely sausages, proper bacon provided by the genuinely helpful staff. Very good service throughout.

The Oakwheel offered great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The location was ideal, with a nice walk to the seafront during the day. The staff provided excellent service and the basic amenities were readily available in the rooms. The breakfast, served by a cheerful waitress, was of high quality.
